A Neat AI Companion - if you can afford it

I love the idea underlying ElliQ: a specialized AI experience for seniors to live their best lives. Or as ElliQ puts it: Your AI sidekick for healthier, happier aging. ElliQ provides you everything in a single device (see image below) that's good to go and customizes itself to your needs e.g. your medication schedule, work-out videos attuned to your needs, health vitals record keeping, companionship. Sounds fantastic, right? So what's the catch? Well, its unaffordable for in-need senior households. You have to pay $250 upfront. And then $60 per month forever. Ouch !!!!

Unless you're well heeled or have someone else paying for this, ElliQ is likely not good value for money. Saying all that, I'm hoping that the providers of this device ("Intuition Robotics Inc.") will eventually have a software-only app offering that you could use on your existing phone and a smart speaker (like the one we provide for FREE).
